It’s slowed down enough for them to offer a couple of voluntary 30 day layoffs which were quickly taken advantage of by senior drivers. The rest of us are receiving $2/hr hazard premium effective from March 30th until whenever.

The hazard pay lasted 7 weeks at our terminal while some received it for less time and others more, depending upon each areas timing on returning to "normalcy". in my case it as when our county moved from the red to yellow phase. we are still expected to social distance, wear a face covering, and take our temperature upon arriving at work. The company continues to provide us with bleach/water mix for wiping down equipment, wipes, and sanitizer and has been very good about keeping us informed through weekly updates mailed to our homes.
