Does Freight hire off the street for Linehaul road driver? Or do you have to start as city driver first

They’ll hire right out of truck school now, they’re very desperate.

OD would offer road miles and no dock work.
FXF offers lots of dockwork and not many miles.

You can always transfer to Dayton as soon as you can. Be nice to have a 5 min drive to work. I will be running to Dayton for one week starting Monday. Then off to Chicago land for rest of bid.

Dayton Freight is building a terminal near the airport.

Old Dominion is building a terminal on 235 a few blocks from ABF's terminal. More direct access to I-70 than current terminal.
