Not good enough for me. The call was made with false statements and an agenda. The Information given was false and given to get another driver in trouble. All files on this call should be deleted and the driver with an agenda should be TERMINATED!!

I agree with BusterNite and maybe ASK LARRY needs to get a e-mail to bring this to his attention also.

One thing about forums is that you can say or deny anything without proof. I am not saying that anything said in this thread is not true but I have some questions about certain things.

First with FedEx facing millions and possibly billions of dollars in law suits do you think that that would let anything be put in a personal file of an employee that could come back to haunt them.

Second anything that goes in your file is scrutinized by auditors and originals sent to HR so false allegations or lies would quickly be removed.

Third legal advisors are now part of HR, they would not allow hear say evidence put in your file because hear say evidence would be quickly thrown out of court.

If a CCM is doing this I would not surprised to see him or her removed or what could be the case the CCM just may be saying this to act big, either way I doubt very seriously that anything that is not fact is in a personal file.

Really doesn't matter to me if you believe it or not, either way it doesn't change the facts.

As for hearsay, a caller need not even leave a name or number, just call and say unit #@@@@ did this and this and it goes in your file as a motorist call in like it or don't. They may follow up with a ride along or follow and that too will go in the file, but the original complaint stands.

Sorry FM did not meant to imply that I did not believe it, but because of my experiences I am surprised that a CCM would let something like this in anyone’s file.

My personal opinion and I have no legal background but it sounds like the driver might have a lot of recourse if he was ever to get fired with some one falsifying any thing put into your personnel file and the CCM knowing it.

Something smells funny

Had a chat with the CCM and HR guy yesterday, they said that the driver was embarrassed, the story is that he told his wife he didn't really want to report a fellow driver so she called in using a false name so he wouldn't know she did it, then he also decided to report it. That's their story anyways.

They said that it will remain in my file that there was a motorist call in.

The ticket that was amended will also remain.

As far as I know the only thing that happened to the reportee was that he said he was embarrassed by his wife getting caught in a lie.

They said that disciplinary items will be handled differently and not in front of everyone in dispatch and they were sorry it was handled that way to begin with.

And hey CCM and HR, you're welcome for the managerial training on how to properly deal with employee conflict.......AT THE EXPENSE OF MY PERSONAL INTEGRITY AND REPUTATION THAT I HAVE SPENT YEARS BUILDING ON. Stupid people **** me off. I smell something and it ain't that dead rat that got stuck under my refrigerator last summer......but very similar. I've only heard one side of this story, but if this is the way it went down, then driver you don't back down. If this lowlife sack of crap did it once, lay down and he will do it again. Seen it happen more than once. A sack of crap is a sack of crap. You don't screw with people just for entertainment. Not at the expense of MY job that MY family depends on. I know you just want this to all go away and everything go back to good times, but this isn't something to be in a hurry to let blow over. Embarrasment is in no way punishment. You would have to know his leader Buzzard, he is a spineless little girly boy, I know I worked for him, he has no intrest in his people, or their troubles.

Thats some yard you work for. Have a dispute over something stupid and some creep who can't stop obsessing about it gets his wife to call in a false report and she does because he just won't shut up about it.

Then the company investigates it, and by that I mean, they believe everything the complainant says and now they're out to prove it. They show you a couple videos about bad driving then they follow you as you go down the road. Maybe you have a kink in your neck so you stretch it out and wander over the white line and you look like some kind of tool.

Meantime old obsessive compulsive is rubbing his hands together and high fiving his stupid wife because they're on their way to ****ing some guy out of his job.

Update

Just figured I'd give you guys an update.

A couple days ago the safety guy called me to let me know he followed me the previous night for roughly 66 miles.

He said that he found nothing wrong and this ends the investigation on the call in.

The call in and the previous ticket that was amended stand and I still think it's a wrong policy but don't want to rock the boat at this time, so it's back to the grind till the next drama unfolds.....
