It is easier to sell white trucks and trailers than brand specific.... that way one may not know how it was maintained .... I sure the title will say who owned it prior . Just a opinion from a idiot...

Darn I miss those days, Didn't have any Whites at my place except for the cab overs in the city, mostly Loony Tune's 9000, had some good old GMC brigadeers in the city also, Then went to IH and refurb old ABF tractors, The lettering on the sides of the trailers was hand done in Cherryville. And you notice NO STACK's Mr. Beam didn't want his trailers all dirty from that. As i said one of the best I worked for

A lot of good times and fond memories, ran the same routes with the Cherryville guys,35 yrs.

I was told plain base color trucks much cheaper. All options even deletes add to cost. Volvo reps said roadway paid extra to delete power steering from the units as it was a base feature years ago until it was mandatory . Color adds price, two tones add more cost.

Why don't they just prime'em and hit'm with clear coat, save a couple more bucks? Better yet, don't even prime, just clear coat, cab only, the rest don't matter,it's plastic.
