Having not won a World Series since 1908, and having last appeared on that stage in 1945—a war year in which the professional leagues were still populated by has-beens and freaks—the Chicago Cubs must contemplate the only solution that might restore the team to glory: Tear down Wrigley Field.​

Wrigley Field is one of the greatest parks in baseball. The ivy...the old scoreboard... the view of Lake Michigan. There's a great deal of history here at the friendly confines.
This had to have been written by a White Sox, Cardinals or Brewers fan.

I still disagree with this Rich Cohen guy... even if he is a Cub fan. Jim Hendry making bad deals like Soriano- Bradley- Fukudome have been our downfall for some time. We'll have to wait and see what Theo Epstein does. Our farm system is looking better.
Let Wrigley stand- invest in younger players- not washed up has-beens.
