Will The US Follow Canada's Lead And Drop The Mandate For Truckers?

As far as I know Canada dropped it. And with the American SCOTUS Ruling today thats that for the trucking mandate and other industries apart from medical facilites that take Medicare and medicaid money. However those workers are under a mandate but are protected specifically from being test or fire. Or jab or no job. They also have health and religious exemptions.

It does not matter after this week, Some states are calling back actively infected medical staff because they fired too many to run their hospitals.

Truckers able to go Canada are precious. If the mandate stood in the USA and or Canada then the freight would have piled up on both sides of the border and then rotted.

They are only allowing Canadian truckers to return home without quarantine.
American truckers will be turned away at the border.
Soon a head of lettuce will cost $12....
Yep. We had to redo our runs because of this. Now one guy will go from Indy to Winnipeg and then shuttle loads from Fargo (brought from Indy to Fargo) to Winnipeg each week as we have some unvaxxed drivers. The vaxxed guy will get bonus $$$ each time he crosses the Border either way.

If the virus is soooooo deadly for EVERY country, why the exemptions? If it was so deadly, the mandate and vaccine exemptions would cost all of them their lives.
Bottom line: The entire thing is a power grab sham.

Another problem with Trump is that he threw his weight and love on something such as vaccines. Now I could grant him a pass thinking that the vaccine may have in his mind been a savior of the Nation that first year or first winter actually.

Because of his actions in office encouraging something that turns out to be such a problem he is not as likely to have a vote next time he tries to run for the white house. If he was to continue to push for something like that again. It would be better to put someone else in there.

As far as the lettuce. I would pay the 12 dollars or whatever. There are times we use the stuff during the year but it is not normally too much a part of our diet. Its already expensive as it is. Might be cheaper to get it through a straw drinking a case of ensure if things got too pricey no one will haul any lettuce at any price. The trucking will have to find something else to haul.
