I don't know how long it will take you to realize this but that's how it been for the last 8 years or so. They used to tell us if things was changing but at some point it was decided that we don't need to know until they actually tell usI cannot believe this shiz. Winter storm crippling the whole east coast and I cannot get any information on what is going on with what is closed at 5PM. Nobody at the terminal is saying nothing. What is wrong with these people?

Someone smart must have told you that!?Well the good thing about this storm is at least XPO will be playing catch up with the freight i SHOULDN'T be sitting because i wont have a line haul run this week..
The corporate party line was "proceed with caution".Like I posted previously in
In the old Conway days they didn't care in the least about us drivers. "Get your chains on and get out there," was the standing order of the day come he** or high water, ice or blinding snow,(the only way one could stand down was if the state closed the roads). And after D.S.'s daughter got killed in a needless accident, CNW did a 180 on their winter driving policy and became all safety minded. What's going on w/ them not making an early decision to notify you concerning this current blizzard...you got me on this one. Probably all the grey shirts involved in making the call on this are scared to pull the trigger too early and put their jobs, that are already on thin ice, on really thin ice.

I have to shake my head at the super truckers, pissed of because they are stuck on the road or at the truck stop. It's not like you didn't know this was coming....
Yeah Rastus, I remember that line...'Proceed with Caution'... it was code for... "you're going out there whether you like it or not."
