This was a totally avoidable situation and sad reminder around the Holidays. Former employees, who are (factually) owed past compensation from Yellow Corporation, but have not yet received it "will" eventually get those payments. However, it's going to take well into 2024 for the Chapter 11 proceedings to wrap up.

You're right, but the reasons are very complex for this business failure. For those who have just claimed Social Security, remember to get a re-calculation when those W-2s arrive. It might increase your benefit.
