I'm not new to this site in spite of not being able to log into my old account. I can no longer be silent reguarding the current situation while listening to the younger generation who apparently do not posess the b@** intestional fortitude for the fight and are unwilling to take a stand. The younger generation doesn't want to reach for their future and is willing to remain where they are or go backwords, my generation and those before me have bled and sweated to pass along the benefits you enjoy. You are the ones who will pay the ultimate price for the givebacks which are occuring now! I have been through many contract fights and strikes and have reason to believe this is no different now. The times are different but the fight is the same. I never wanted to go through a work stoppage either because it doesn't help either side but there are times you must stand up and be counted! Reguardless of how we got here or who's fault our situation is we did our best to assist the company financially with our reduction of wages and benefits. I would even consider extending the MOU if the company were taking intelligent steps to compete and be smarter in the business but alas the same old status quo. They have waited until the holidays to apply the maximum pressure, then they send their information to your homes to involve our families which is wrong! This will be the same after the next 5 years if it passes. I don't wish to see this company go the way as so many previously but this is their "hail mary pass", I believe they have the next proposal waiting if this is rejected and ultimately I believe we can accept the same agreement as ABF to align our contracts together. I for one have seen no signs of going out of business only more wasted spending, more inept business decisions, and more pressure to accept additional concessions, because the current proposal no matter how you present it "IS ANOTHER CONCESSION" no matter how you package it. I'm sorry for the way I feel but I feel betrayed by my employer, my union, and the workers who no longer are willing to stand united. Pass or fail I've had my fill!!!:regretful::regretful:

Well said. Should be copied and posted in break rooms throughout the system.

I hear more grey hairs saying vote yes than young men. The bottom half of the board at my barn say they are voting no.
