Surprised there has been no more terminal consolidation to report. Worried about the fate of Quincy, Illinois. QUN/344. Quincy's area is served by three different Holland terminals. St. Louis, Mo., Rock Island and Lincoln (Atlanta) Illinois. Should be interesting.
Yea me too, I think they can't afford to lose any drivers or door space right now.

We are hearing that particular area is going to have team trucks pulling 53’ liftgate trailers, and have a Holland, and YRC drivers in them run that area out of STL. The reasoning being a driver from each company will be familiar with the customer base there, especially some large shippers in the Marblehead area.

Don't give them any ideas!

It's August already so either stuff starts happening now or they are going to do 1 huge merger all in one day and it will cripple the system and will take months to get moving again.

Was told IT is in the process of merging Reddway’s computer systems with YRC’s. That is supposed to be completed by the end of August. Holland’s network is much larger and probably won’t be completed until April 2022. For now they will be using YRC’s computer system (formally Roadway’s system).

They did that over a decade ago. Perhaps you meant Holland's and Yellow's.

As you heard from Darrell, one Yellow is on track, matter of fact, on the tech side of one Yellow, we just moved New Penn over to the Yellow technology that went well without any customer disruption, right away in Holland coming over next, that'll be done actually this year, the network side of one Yellow completes in the first half of 2022.

That’s not entirely true. YRC’s freight bills are still printed using Roadways software. Still using Rapid planning system, at least here locally. On strip loads still printing manifest that still say Roadway Express. YRC freight bills use a nine digit pro plus check digit. Reddway and Holland use a ten digit pro. And are not compatible with YRC’s. New Penn has already been converted to YRC’s pro system. Next is Reddway followed by Holland.

Times they are a changing. Talked to on of my friends at QUN/344 today. They have 3 tractors on life support. They brought them a 2009 Holland tractor yesterday. Their U/E guy brought a New Penn van this morning from STL. Don't see many green trailers in this part of the woods. Camo yes all green no.
