And union wont bother with sitting at the table. It’s only 22000 brothers n sisters. It's sad to think that some 20,000 teamsters are probably going to loose their jobs because their management sucks so bad.
Not exactly true but I understand you are not a pro union guy. Let's try and not stoke bad feelings ok?And union wont bother with sitting at the table. It’s only 22000 brothers n sisters.
I been a union man my whole life. Watching a brain dead meathead run our brothers n sisters out of a job irritates me. He had an offer three months ago but never showed the members. I guess it’s easier being a tough guy when ur dumb as fkk.Not exactly true but I understand you are not a pro union guy. Let's try and not stoke bad feelings ok
This has already been addressed by GO40 on the Yellow forum, but bears repeating. Why did Hawkins wait until the last minute to offer this supposed bump in pay. They can’t even afford to pay the $50 million they owe to keep your benefits going, but miraculously at the last minute, they can afford to give you a pay raise to puts you guys/gals in the same ball park as ABF and T-Force wages? Plus, rather than request to open up the contract to renegotiate last year or later this year, Yellow decides to ask in the middle of three other contracts being negotiated. Can you not smell the BullSh*t that Hawkins and Yellow is trying to pull? This may have worked on Hoffa, but in case you did not notice, there is a new sheriff in town. If Yellow and Hawkins were sincere about pulling off this wage bump, they should have made the Teamsters aware of it long before now. Plus, what is Hawkins wanting to take away from your contract to provide this wage bump? As far as I know, nobody outside of the Teamsters and Yellow have seen it. So, apparently there is something in there that O’Brien and company do not like about it!!!And union wont bother with sitting at the table. It’s only 22000 brothers n sisters.
Sit and the table for what exactly? You have to bring something to sit at the table. Obrien has a duty to keep the wages up for all Teamsters. Yellow had 15 years to get there :: straight. And union wont bother with sitting at the table. It’s only 22000 brothers n sisters.

O’Brien is not going to agree to anything that would violate his Oath to the Teamsters. If you think that the Teamsters don’t care about Yellow, you are wrong. We voted him in to lead us. Now, step out of his way and let him do his job!!!
Yeah cause with our benefits, overtime and pension our wages were total ::. Obrien is doing awesome. Maybe i can find a union job mopping floors in a hospital that really has a good wage because freight is doneSit and the table for what exactly? You have to bring something to sit at the table. His obligation is also to preserve and grow the unionized LTL workforce. He seems to be failing at that big time if he sits by and lets Yellow disappear.. The Teamsters Union sadly has become big business which has forgotten their historic role. Today they are only concerned about the low hanging fruit - organizing very small groups of primarily public sector employees, school bus drivers, custodians, etc.Sit and the table for what exactly? Do you know if there will be volunteer opportunities to help the yellow people in case of displacement. Nicest word I can come up with. I did text BA but Denver kind of wonky. Also will be checking w my church, we raise beef to give to people just in case. Just trying to help in anyway I can. This has already been addressed by GO40 on the Yellow forum, but bears repeating. After 15 years of pay cut and bad management you want to blame the unionHis obligation is also to preserve and grow the unionized LTL workforce. Blaming the Union for what exactly? My issue with Union leadership is specifically them not working with Yellow to hammer out an agreement that Yellow workers can vote on and hopefully approve so unionized trucking won't take a huge hit by Yellow shutting down, not to mention the 30,000 current workers there who will be left high and dry. After 15 years of pay cut and bad management you want to blame the union
To quote our current Chief Executive, "Come on man!" The executive bonuses were in the form of stock options not cash. And considering the current share price the "bonuses" were minimal at best when compared to comparable companies. Do some research please?I say the top 3-4 top people running Yellow give back their bonus's, for the last 2-3 years and pay the H&W and Pension.! Then sit down and get real about management and I mean those at the top who's been getting Bonus's while the members have been giving, give their share. Work with the union to find a compromise that works!!! Just MHO.
