    Almost 15yrs to get back to 2008 pay rates wow why do we pay union dues again?

    Prior warning notice is not required if the cause of discharge involvement in a serious accident while on duty;

    Now you can be fired without Prior warning if involved in a serious accident even if it's not your fault. Why is there no protection non preventable?

    Prior warning notice is not required if the cause of discharge sexual Harassment – ability of employer to take employee out of service immediately for proven sexual harassment. How do you prove Sexual harassment anybody can just make up stories about you and you're fired?

    Abeseentism and tardiness should be separate progressions you can be a few minutes late or disappear for 3 days to get same warning that's not right separate offenses?

    (my son and I were talking about the contract. He worked there 11 years. We both just said STOP!) we did.

    Unless I’m reading it wrong, did Section 8, page 3 and 4 , establish a $2.00 less a hour split scale for all non cdl employees, specifically checkers?

    They threw a bone to the new guys with immediate full scale pay and they threw a bone to the old timers with an extra week vacation. This one is in the bag and everyone will vote for it. No question.

    I’m surprised they didn’t put $1,000 cash bonus in there for signing. It worked last time.

    I was just reading an article that basically highlights that 14,000 workers are getting that extra week of vacation. That has a pretty significant effect. That is essentially the $1,000 signing bonus this time around.
