What you should really look at is how much profit did you make?How well is your family doing?Now figure out how your going to pay the bills without the check you rely on everyweek.Nobody likes what is infront of us now,we are all frustrated and angry.Dont let your anger and indignation overrule your logic and common sense.No one is trying to pull a fast one yrc is brink of destruction this may work it may not,but a no vote will surely be the end!
Agreed.....Sad but true!! If we had a shot, we would all be fighting. They are not going to give us a second chance to re-vote. All the anger we have isnt going to change the outcome if we vote No..... I need to take care of my family. The stories out there arent good. It's not always greener.....it sucks out there.... I know...Been there, done that.... 've been here a long time... It's not just us, it's all around us. If we could play ball here, we would.... We're not giving up, they arent giving us a choice.... Vote Yes or we are done!!! That means everybody.....

Stop posting lies about not getting another chance. No one and I mean no one knows if they will go back to the table.. Do you think the company is gonna say hey, vote on this and if you dont like it we will come up with a better proposal. They are gonna say its over if you dont pass it.. what else you expect them to say?

Hey Rain, how ya been... Don't know where Irishman is. haven't seen him in a while since he is perminately disabled.. You have to let me know when exciting stuff comes up more often and I'll be sure to get on.. In the mean time I've been working too hard trying to save the company.. haha
All you people that think you can keep your jobs by voting yes are not dealing in realality. The facts are right in front of you just look at the last 20 years in the freight we lost job after job,concessions were given with empty promises about saving our future. The IBT and local leaders sold us out and still is to this day with this crap they are slinging now,a stand should have been made a long time ago before we got to this point. The work rules at all non union companys will be the ones you will be under if you do not stand up and fight for what you believe in. Where would the Teamsters have been if we did not stand up and fight back in the begining of what was a great union. We would be right where the non union workers are now. YRC already has their plan in place and will more than likely shut down after it bleeds everyone of you dry. Then what are you going to say then that I stood up and fought for myself and my fellow teamsters,or are you going to be the person who says they told us that they were going to save our jobs with that money that they took from us. I know a real union member would never back down from a fight! So do what is right take on the company and the union leadership because they both want to see you fail..

Sounds like you have been drinking TOO much YRC coolaid!!!!!!! There is NOTHING to be figured out. If you have been around long enough NO company has or will survive the BIG GIVEBACKS(except filling THEIR pockets). Why did we STRIKE in '94? Why? For what was best.
Now is now...... We have to look at what faces us now. To vote no and have them throw us aside is not the wise choice. We are small compared to them.

They can't fail.. everytime they are about to, you keep giving them more...and more.... and more.... atleast I know you won't cry now when you don't have your run since you are just so happy to have a job.With them it's the companydoing it. With us it's my fellow teamsters screwing me. And our ba will say well you voted this in. Not me' I voted no on all concessions as well as the pos contract( greatest contract ever ring a bell?) I voted no because I suspected giving up the work rules was only a start!
