XPO | smoking, spitting and cussing

I touched a snot rocket hiding on a manifest once.

It was disgusting..... I couldn't fling the thick creamy snot off my finger.

Thats when you wipe it on a phone or something to just share it with another...i remember during the brief 1 week we ran XAN when they opened it as an FAC a few years back...i was taking a leak and looked at the wall in front of me...the longest smeared booger i have ever seen was right there on the wall...that place seemed a little odd anyways, so i suppose picking your nose while urinating is an ok thing to do....

it is supposed to be no tobacco on premisses,we have white shirts that still dip not only at work, but in the building, hmm, double standards ya think, surely not at conway freight as micro managing as they are!!!

? still no reply from conbots saying i must be mistaken, our bosses wouldn't tell us do as i say not as i do. i could care less if someone smokes on the job, as long as they do their job, and they sweep out the truck. i can think of more important things, like take care of our customers, dont tear up freight, fac's getting drivers out faster so the clock of life didn't look like the joke that it is rite know!!!!!

It is like a magicians slight of hand, they keep us busy looking at these things while they are doing something else behind your back.

To me this another form of control forced down our throats by our government and employers. We are no longer a free society that has the right to be an individual who can think for themselves. We are quickly becoming a country of government controlled citizens. Take a look around you at all the stupid stuff we are forced to do/not to do by our state, local and federal government,it's pathetic. Helmet laws, seatbelt laws,no smoking in the workplace etc. and the list goes on and on. Me personally I think the warning labels should be taken off of everything and just let nature take it's course.A thinning of the herd if you will. Something that really gets under my skin is a local law that prohibits smoking in bars and nightclubs. Let's see I have been pumping drinks into some nice young lady and myself so we can drive drunk over to her place to have unprotected sex and the powers that be are worried about second hand smoke.Gimme a break. My suggestion to the smokers and dippers is to cover your tracks and if you are not inclined to do so you may want to think about quitting. As for me I will be watching to see if my manager quits the snuff habit so I can be inspired to give it up myself.:hysterical: I really doubt he will quit chewing in his office so I have no reason to stop doing it in mine. Discretion goes along way when used in such matters as well as cleaning up after yourself. :1036316054: As to the cussing....well I may have problem there!:hysterical:

Well I guess I failed all three of those..Ooppsss.I smoke on my breaks& lunch, cuss when it's in the right time & place(not around customers)& spit in the toilet or water bottle. Most of the people who chew here spit in a water bottle & put the lid on & dump it.

ccxnobody says....
smoking...if you smoke, keep the window open in the truck..plain and simple...keep the fan on inside to keep the air from stailing into a smokers den per se...i smoke, and even i dont want to smell that stinch, why would someone who doesnt smoke want to?

Turning on the fan while smoking is ok but only if its a dash mount fan. Using the blower motor fan sucks all the smoke into the air ducts and once it's there, it's never going away. Just thought I'd clarify this.

On the sterlings with ac...if you keep the thing in vent/floor it is fresh air and blows the smoke right out the window...allot of guys/gals or people i guess...leave it in the vent or max ac position and that re-circulates the air in the cab which inturn does what you say...i hate that smell too...if the smoke dont go out the window...the window goes all the way down and i stick as much of me as safely out that same window to smoke...i am a very courteous smoker...when the smoke smell bothers me, which it does allot in other peoples trucks, i know it has to kill the non smoker...common sense and courtesy is what it is all about...and if you smoke, keep the inside windows clean as well as the steel work around the windows as well, that also aids tons...but, try and get the average dsr to even touch a bottle of windex...

Is that hillbilly for chewing tabacco ( if so that has been a policy forever "no tabacco products" ) or do you mean not allowed to spit.
