FedEx Freight | Any of you know anything about the set that crashed on 77 in W.VA today?

From what was sent to me:

Driver is from YNG and in critical condition at the hospital, no word on what injuries. Evidently the lady driving the car crossed over and hit the FXF driver head on.

this is my worst fear someone driving the opposite direction loosing control and hitting me head on. God bless her family as well as the driver and his family this is going to be a very tough time on him and his family as well as the young lady's family who just lost their daughter/mother/sister.... tough day for all involved...

May God ease All their pain and suffering.

Seeing these accidents posted here keep reminding me to keep my head on a swivel, stay right with God and make sure my family knows I love them.

not trying to be a smart a$# but everybody thinks driving at night is tough and risky. But this was a daytime road driver. It can happen at a blink of an eye, anytime, any place. You have to be on point every sec u go down the road. And from the skid marks the driver was on point, alert, and aware. We all know the companies safety dept has a hard on for accidents but in my opinion, on this acct, they can't pin nothing on the driver. My condolences goes out to that young girls family & her friend. I just hate that the driver has to live with this incident on his conscious now cause stuff like this will make a driver step down & not want to drive anymore.

Yng driver meeting CLT @ Crw. She dropped her cell phone crossed the median and was airborne when she hit our driver. From what a driver told me out of YNG our driver tried to avoid it he put 120ft of skid marks down before they hit! He has multiple chest injuries also with hip and ankle broken.

Does anyone know if Mike has been released from the hospital yet? And also how he's doing? He's a friend I used to visit with when he was running FRE at night.

Good grief, that is terrible. RIP to the dead girl and I hope the driver turns out ok.

This is a dangerous job we do out here day/night. And the govt classifies it as unskilled labor. Pulling double/triple wagons is even worse. It can all be gone in a single instant...scary

Mike is a dear friend of mine. He is still in ICU and has a long road to recovery. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
