flat beds be a smart move.
Estes should get into small package business to take some money away from UPS.

I delivered a two and a half pound package of glue to a customer and watched A UPS driver struggle to get a box that weighed 95 pound of the back of his little brown truck.

Probably posted this before, when I lived in AR, I saw an Estes driver, he had a new truck, new 53' and his uniform was a pullover polo type shirt, had the Big E logo and also the HD logo, looked pretty sharp, he was headed to NW Arkansas, I'm guessing thats all he did.

I'm talking 8 and 10 cubes package cars(little brown truck) like UPS has. Envelope's, small package, bags, 50-100 stop down town/residential route's, etc....that's what I meant.

Some of the images of city drivers at 028, they need to go to UPS rules. Hair above collar, clean shaven everyday, uniform pants, shirt buttoned up with ties if necessary. (Should be a rule)
Business is slow, need to get every advantage we can.

I'm glad they have package delivery companies because of the junk I order to be on my doorstep, I'm just grateful that's it's not me panting like a dog and someone else.

I could see me in a Big E truck with a nice new flatbed, chains hanging from the head rack, I would be the envy of all flatbedders, I couldn't run a radio, I would be to busy answering questions to get anything done! :)

That flatbed **** was something that GI trucking was and is doing. LaMarida had a few out back 4 year ago anyway.

I'm so dammed spoiled right now. I just had a visual of me starring out the window at an illegal immigrant enjoying my $10 bill to tarp my load, while I enjoy a cold 32 ounce brewsky in one hand and wiggling his wives ass with the other.

I'd try the flatbed gig, but I can never find the roll up door in the back...I just said the hell with it....

I tried it for awhile but kept losing the freight somehow until I figured out those little rolls of fabric weren't for tying the trailer down in a wind storm, that and I kept wandering off the edge for no good reason, damned embarrassing it was.Did I mention I drank a lot those days.
