Holland | Scott Ware called

I'm no tax guru, but my guess is that if it comes in a separate check as $750.00, you will be taxed at the higher rate. If it is added into your paycheck, it will be taxed as just regular income at the lower rate. But if they add it into your paycheck, your paycheck will be so big that you will jump into an abnormally high tax rate also.

What I thought was BS was Ware said that this is being asked because the banks want sustained improvements, less that 5 minutes later he said that we have shown improvements in 8 of the last 10 quarters. He is so full of s**t he can't even keep the story straight. VOTE NO!!!!!!!

Separate check at payroll rate. Same as a vacation check.

Not even interested, they can keep their lousy carrot.they need it more than I do.

486 not questioning your intentions, just posting facts. I don't like this anymore than the next guy, but I will take your lousy carrot. Its not going to pass anyway. Our terminal is about as conservative as they come and its a no here.

We've heard that before.......several times. Yet the concessions all pass easily. Drivers talk tough, Momma wears the pants. lol

Great to here about the no at your barn.you can have my lousy carrot they ain't gonna buy me.

KK just posted that the $750.00 bonus will be taxed as a "bonus" which is at a tax rate of 45%. For those of you who are all giddy about the big $750.00, it's actually $412.50 that you will receive. Vote whichever you want, but like I said before, if you've had a career at YRCW wages and $412.50 will make or break you.....you've got issues. And I'm not seeing any other guaranteed gains or advantages in the proposal.

They are bribing us with our own money. And how desperate can you be that you will give up another 5 years for a total of $1500 that YRC is giving you, I mean giving you back what they took from you.

Griz if you remember back in 98 when we got a lump sum instead of raises for the first year, the check we got was taxed at a much higher rate then a regular check. My cpa says that it is considered a gift and not earned income.

Ware booed at joliet terminal. Labor guy gets vote no taped to his back and walks around looking like a fool priceless.

Do you guy's votes over there in Chicagoland count the first time, or do you still have to vote until you get it right? lol
