Yellow | Top ten things I noticed when I climbed in my ABF truck the first time

Notice how they hid the Dolly from the camera......................It's a rare day at YRC to see a new tractor and 2 new trailers all going in the same direction at the same time with the same driver............ Besides that's a old picture notice the red IFTA sticker on the tractor and the the trailers are from the last batch we purchased in 08 and the tractor is from 11....................

I had forgot about those leaning Volvo seats that had to have an emergency response guide book to level them out somewhat. My back hurts just thinking about it.

To each their own. Those who want to will move on, those who want to stay will stay. The problem I have is that YRC (the company not the men) is dragging the whole industry down.
 

It's easy to cast stones. But I don't see anyone criticizing UPS's use of part time and purchased transportation.
That photo was taken today on I-94 in Indiana.
 
They're hitting on it hard in the UPSF forum last time I looked. UPS Small Package has used shiny wheels around Christmas for a long time and it has never been liked by the men and women who work there.
And face it, it's another spike in our coffin.
 
That seems to be ups package during peak....not saying that freight don't use purchased transportation, I do know that both freight & package dident have a giveback

I walked 3 months ago when this crapstorm came a coming and haven't looked back.
My new truck is an 11' 670 Volvo w/300K on it. Sirius radio, D13 engine 455 hp that walks over YRC junk on the road. Heater blasts.
Air ride. My body has never felt better and I sleep in my own bed every night .
I never realized how the junk I was driving was tearing my body apart.
Notice I said I had a radio? Nobody ripped it out of the dash so a driver didn't have a perk..
That's what they think of you
