ODFL | 2007 results coming

O.D. will release the 4th quarter results and 2007 year end totals in a conference call 1/31/2008 at 11:00am......Will the outlook be sunny as usual ?

I guess 8 to 10 % growth.Proffits down.

tonnage up , cost up , profit flat or up just a little. and the outlook will say all the positive things about growing the business and expanding existing coverage through acquistions etc...

As far as I can tell,sitting in this chair,from what everybody tells me and from what I read this has been a normal year.Some terminals have freight,some don't have as much but about everybody is running most of the time.You've got to remember it's the slow time of year.Bad weather is coming up north this weekend and the southeast is over due for some, that'll probably slow it down for a while.They're buying,expanding,and improving exsisting terminals.They've not took a step back in many years.I've always felt sooner or later the company would be sold but it will take some deep,deep pockets to buy it,she won't go cheap.
