You can be on layoff for five years before you have to get rehired, You move up 10 to 20 spots a year. If YRC is still in buisness and buisness gets better I think about a year or two. But for now hit the road for some other company and hope that unions will be coming your way. Fedex,Conway,Saia,OD,Estes,Usf glenmoore

no i wouldnt of cause the guy right above me hasnt got in in 3 weeks.plus even if i did get in i would only get three days anyway.i get more on unemployment

If you still have the original paperwork they sent you the 1st time it shows your Weekly benefit(WB) and then your dependent allowance(DA). So if you are getting 540 I am fairly sure your weekly is $385.
50% is $190 = 575 WB + 50% + 149 DA
+25 from Obama

4 days 12 hours a day = $1166.76 a week only working 4 days

not bad when you think about it....

But you are available for all 3 terminals when in layoff..

i am at the bottom number 870 they arnt calling botoom guys in at all let alone 4 days maybe if i was number 650 or so then maybe but ill stick with my 540 a week for doing nothing and not having to travel to 3 terminals like some idiots are doing.
