I wonder how much fuel they would save if we all stayed in 9th gear. I ain't got enough umph in 10th to make it up the hills, and I sure don't go no faster in 10th, why bother?

Thats something to think about Ted, yall got hills, we don't have much, its up and down on the turnpike to Norman OK, if I bid shuttle for the summer, I guess I will find out how an old wore out 10 speed cornbinder with a business class engine pulls 2 42's all that way loaded, I have a new cascadia and it pulls great, our shuttle guys are wearing out those cascadias, because they pull so well, they are slower but they make better time on the turn, If I bid it I will be last shuttle in seniority, so I imagine I will have to do the poop duty, thats ok with me if thats what I decide.

I'll remember the ninth gear deal though!
