Yellow | 8 hr day split into 2-4 hr shifts

Picture this scenario. A laid-off employee comes in to work from 7-11 p.m. one night. He then returns at 4 a.m., 5 hours later, the next morning, to work another 4 hour shift. Needless to say, he then returns , that night, at 7 p.m., for another 4 hour shift. This scenario happened at 896-Orange, last week.

no 1 would listen when this was brought up before weeee voted on it .
5 four hour shifts and no bennies . the tribe has spoken and my no vote was overtaken by the kool-aid drinks.

Have to say I feel horrible for you guys. But this does not affect only you. This degrades the standard for all freight drivers. When and where will it all end? When does it become my turn?

you are 100% when you say it degrades all of us. i got a good friend who hooked on at ABF recently and we have conversations about this all the time.
