ABF Freight System Inc. has filed an opening brief with the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals in St. Louis in connection with the recent dismissal of its lawsuit against the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and subsidiaries of trucking competitor YRC Worldwide.
In an announcement on its Legal Action web page, ABF states it is asking the appeals court to reverse the dismissal by the U.S. District Court in Arkansas and return the case to the lower court for further proceedings.
"Oral arguments in our case are scheduled for mid-April," the announcement states.
In a summary of its opening brief to the appeals court, ABF requests 20 minutes of oral argument per side...................
