abf laid off 20 dock employees.they recieved lay off papers.but abf told them they had to sign another paper that said able to work or unable to work during the lay off.without union present.many signed thinking it was what you do when u get laid off.after weeks of collecting unemployment a letter came in the mail from unemployment. abf is questioning your availablity to work.they sent that letter that they made the guys sign to unemployment office.many of them were denied and had to pay all the money back. I was 1 of them. laid of or not?something is wrong here.

Mikey....tell me you did not sign that paper...please. They tryed that on us in 02 and 03, both times I refused to sign and never had a problem. 2 guys signed it and worked 9 days in 16 weeks and were on call 24/7...nothing but a f-in joke. I have a feeling unemployment is going to want some dough back....not good.
