An Anchorage woman died Thursday in South Anchorage when her car crashed into a tractor-trailer. It was the third traffic fatality in the city in eight days.
As in the previous two fatalities, police say one of the drivers may have run a red light.
Carolyn J. Owens, 51, was driving east on Dimond Boulevard around 11 a.m. when she T-boned an oncoming Peterbilt tractor-trailer that was turning south onto Minnesota Drive, according to police.
