keeping your window open a little gives you fresh air and that really works wonders .....I agree with the power nap thing when things get really bad.... just don't oversleep .....sucks to tell your TM that :shift:
 
5 hour energy drink works for me.cost 3 bucks,keeps me alert and awake longer than 5 hours,,give it a try you have nothing to lose.hope this helps,i have same problem on the second leg of run,but this works....:clap::clap:

1. they are addictive, your body gets used to them and eventually you can't function without them.
2. They are not good for your heart.
3. They are loaded with sugar and caffeine.

I used to do a 2.5 hour run, help out on P&D and come back daily, I drank minimum of 2 litres of Pepsi daily, I could not finish the run down without a power nap halfway, and quite often on the way back. Stopped drinking Pepsi and all carbonated drinks, now I rarely get drowsy while I am on a run.

i said 5 hour energy drink with natural ingredients,not the caffeine heart pounder,and a 15-20 min nap will do the trick.:clap::smilie_132::mfight:
 
I use carrot sticks. I cut them in large pieces and eat one when I'm feeling drowsy. I eat it slowly and then eat another when the sleepy feeling returns. It works unless I'm really sleepy, then I pull over and take a nap. I've never seen a report where the driver was found dead with half a carrot stick in his mouth.LOL:TR10driving03:
 
In my container hauling days running from florida to texas we sat on a bag of ice,and sucked on a small pack of hot sauce
 
Audio books work very well. I was just turned onto them lately. Also just poke yourself in the eye every 15 minutes or so. Should do the trick. (just joking) For the blood pressure, just double up on it a few days before the test. If you are really scared take a Viagra before the bp test. It will quickly lower your BP. Just make sure the Doctor is not a good looking girl. Kinda awkward maybe I think.
 
Just think of all the broken "purple promises" that should get you really pissed off and there by be able to stay awake.

Dosen't happen much but when ever I need to power nap and boss asks "why late?" I say "pull over, or roll over". Subject is usually dropped.
 
I have heard that green tea will make you test positive on a drug test. I don't know for sure,but I quit drinking it just in case. It does help you stay awake though.
 
Place your seat all the way down. Put your left leg on the clutch pedal. Place testicals under left leg. When you start to fall asleep your leg will slip off the pedal and...... well you get the point.:17:
