My first thoughts were that I hope he didn't know what hit him when he was killed.
Also there sure was not much left of that tractor.
There is no excuse for this kind of accident, even if the train doesn't blow it's whistle. Here's a concept: whenever you approach a RR crossing that has no signal alarms -- STOP AND LOOK.
