This is not rumor nor fact. This is just my hopes put down on paper.... Well not exactly paper, but you know what I mean.

Transforce buys Vitran Canada, either by hostile takeover or by agreement. This sets up the situation were Vitran Canada's name disappears and becomes Transforce LTL Services..or whatever... So, Vitran USA gets to retain its name and CT quickly is absorbed into V because of CSA scores, better properties, etc. Employees dovetail senority and we survive long enough for YRC to go belly up....frieght buries us and the business grows like crazy. Money for all.

Here's to hoping.

This is prolly a pipe dream, I know this.. Just wanting to stay positive.

other option is they will run us just like Yrc does with Holland, yrc owns both yrc and Holland both operate separately but all the revenue goes into the same checkbook. personally I don't think CT is going anywhere
