We're you getting your info. They are doing like every other major company is price shopping. Companies are shipping with the lowest price if they are paying the shipping cost.

Cat is doing pretty poorly right now. They are closing a bunch of plants this year and combining/relocating production lines.

We have a customer that does their grader blades. All the orders are addressed to the plant in Brazil.

We lost all of our Caterpillar filter freight from Donaldson because of pricing. And our W&I person inspected the hell out of one of those accounts driving cost up more. Then closing also is a track plant that we work. Yes Cat doing all they can to reduce cost.

We are down 200k lbs a day on cat compared to last year. I heard they are moving south.

I hope Caterpillar being raided by the Feds doesn't mess them up too much. Reportedly , Caterpillar owes billions of dollars in taxes.
