Mismanagement. Since Trump's inauguration the stock market is up almost 70%. This year alone most retirement accounts are up almost 10-20% even in this economy.
Why don't these funds experience the same gains as private citizens???
I contributed to these funds and expect my payment but this is not a taxpayer issue.....
Should have stopped the Corruption years ago , so many ways the Union should have stepped in & changed things before it got this bad , to many things to argue about on this subject , but why isn't Hoffa on the front line fighting for us & pension !

The teamsters just sat and watched deregulation take one member carrier at a time and did nothing.
Rather than be honest with members about how to get competitive they watched membership dwindle to nothing.
Now they expect taxpayers to foot the bill.
Look, the taxpayers have to pay for Hunter Biden for the next 4 years. That will cost more $$$$ than saving pensions.....
UPS should not have been allowed to leave the fund. Yellow should not have bought Roadway and Holland all 3 companies would still be paying full pension with more members paying into the funds. The only reason why my local's pension fund is fully funded is because UPS still pays into it!

The problem is that those that complain about the union is if the union does nothing they get slammed by all the anti crowed and when the union steps in the same crowed complain the union is hurting the company . How many company's went down and the union was blamed ?
Well I suggest everyone start a Roth IRA max it out every year and put the cap 5% after tax in the Teamster 401k at a minimum but contribute more before tax if you can.
