The "labor man" I remember best was Noble Jackson, the old labor man for Yellow Freight out of Columbus. I used to love to see him and old Sam Theodus go toe to toe in those grievance hearings at Local 407 in Cleveland. Noble was a tough negotiator, but also a straight shooter whose word you could count on. Rest in peace Noble!
