Yellow | Changes served on a dirty platter.

Seen on Cincinnati 216 bulletin board from local 100 that 216 terminal is moving back into 241 terminal (that they just moved out of) on or about the first of the year. Would love to have the money they **** away on stupid moves.

Is it a change change of operations or just a change of address with no freight or road driver gain?cant lose anymore,down to city generated loads...

Just a location move. Said they were going to share the terminal w/ Holland. No change of operations mentioned.
 
just rumor but also heard from a good source that the charlotte term was bought by walmart .and those guys will be going back to Kernersville..Management from charlotte going there on the hush hush . started last 2 weeks.
guess they will cut a few more 5 week vacation guys from the herd.

What could posibily be left to change in New Enland? Maybe their bringing back some of the road work to Cheshire!
 
there was a bulletin up in chicago too of moveing back to the other terminal still hasent happed.

Heard the same from some of the dock guys last week.......... Guys in the yard been talking about it for around a month. Really started getting steam when George B. the TOM quit......

Closing 241 was probably one of the reasons Rogers got fired. Why go from a breakbulk terminal with a full size shop and plenty of space to a city terminal that is just down the street.
 
mike I hear that George is really up in Kernersville now and the quit is a cover to keep it on the down low until they get it worked out .

Why would Walmart want the Charlotte terminal?? There is a brand new supercenter less than 2 miles away???
