I copied this from another forum. Can we do this and would it stick?

If you aren't ready to vote next Saturday or Sunday simply state, "I move to table the vote on this contract until ______ so that we may have the opportunity to review the contract proposal and make an educated and informed vote." Have another member ready to second your motion. Whatever you do, do not feel forced to vote "Yes" until you are ready. It is the most important vote you'll make for the next 5 years of you and your family's life.

You can do it, then they'll put it up for a vote. If it passes you would be able to table it. However, they may be able to force it through another parliamentary measure available to the Executive Board. You also have the option of asking the chair for a point of order that there is not a quorum present. Although that may play right into their hands. Be careful, but by all means use their own rules to achieve your outcome.
