People always bring up Hostess but, from what I've been told, from a guy that was there (Bakers union) the Bakers took the grunt of concessions in the past, and sure, the Teamsters portion voted yes that last time, the Bakers had already had enough. That's the problem with having multiple unions connected to the same operation I guess. The smaller less powerful ones take it the worst but, in the end, it came around to bite the rest.

I hear all that. It's easy for us to arm chair quarterback for them and say enough is enough but we're not in their shoes and so many today have over-extended themselves and now they're up against a wall. What kills me is that whole thing is killing all of us in the LTL industry.
 
Just wanted to say Thanks to every poster on this topic, you all have had great comments and great info, keep up the good work, you help make TB a great community
