EMIGSVILLE, Pa. Innerstate Truckload gets stuck under 11Ft RR Bridge

What is the deal with all of these drivers hitting low underpasses? Has this always been so common or is it just the internet making it seem like something new.

Seems like there are a lot more clueless long haul truck load truckers.
That are on our roads that are not able to do the math, when dealing with height.

Duhhhhh......... I thought I had plenty of room???
Hmmm my trailer is 13'6" & the sign is 11' wonder why I am stuck???

Aw heck, that overpass/bridge has another 40 years of service.
It's been hit countless times but it's also in Pa. (like anywhere N.E.) where bridges were built strong.

Looks more like a flood control channel. Too bad it wasn't raining as the rig might have slid in further.
trucking career impacting bridges = :sadwavey:

CHEERS!!

Not likely it's been so common because before g.p.s., WE COULD READ MAPS as well finding RESTRICTED ROADS not listed.
It's just Internet presentation availability.
