R&L | every body working to hard to post????

We are too pissed in PHI!!!! Had a really great new system of 8:30 starts and a wave at 10am to peddle all the late arriving freight. Was working out really good, but our stubborn azz TM wouldn't would not make the proper changes to keep it going. A few phone calls to Wilmington and we are back to old hours again. Back to the same snowballing mess we were in before.. To answer your question YES we are really busy in Philadelphia.Morale very low with employees and we are all hoping for a change!!!

This a company wide problem. With all the freight we have been moving lately they belive it still can be done with 8:00 and 9:00 start times. If they had guys start from 7-10 and hire a few more people it can get done. Still stuck in the old ways of doing things:duh:

Busy out here in DVR but it's mis-leading Ooops! I meant mis-Managment.

Our mgnt group (cannot call them a team) they don't COMMUNICATE!

And of course there back to treating us employees like ::shit::!

R+L has always been about the #'s But out here, hell or hi-water you will deliver the freight even if the customer is closed.

Our TM is all about the #'s and completely refuses to listen to his employees. Actualy he just walks away from you during a conversation, or he has an important phone call to take!

Moral's bad, working conditions are close to bad.

maintenance on the equipment is almost non-exsitant, had a tire come off a truck awhile back, yes tire, rim and hub as one unit, while on a line haul run. Luckily no one got hurt but the bad thing about it is the truck went through the saftey lane right before the misshap and to make the whole senerio worse the reginal saftey lady was out just days after the accident and SHE refused to even talk about or discuss this issue! Sad, Sad, Sad!

Managments bad judgement abounds around this terminal!

But yes we are busy!

it is hard for me to beleive that they rarely do maintenance on the trucks at your terminal, that just makes no sence. if your shop is not doing nothing to your trucks let your t/m know if he won't do nothing call r duken in wil. but it sounds more like drivers not writting up the equipment or not deadlining them to get them fixed until they are setting along the road. in most cases the MECHANIC can not fix somthing that they don't know nothing about. but back on topic.... glad to hear your busy out there....:smilie_132:
