I agree, however, those on the top of the board,......having gone through the good, bad, and ugly on the seniority board,.....should have a little empathy for newer employees. And........as we all well know, the company isn't above taking advantage of seniority envy to foster a little dissension in the ranks,......and possibly get work rules changed in their favor,..........or even entire contracts, for that matter........... Seniority is not rank,....this isn't the military,.....we all pay the same in Union dues,.......There are times when we have to step up and help a younger Brother, especially if the work rules are impacting his family,........and there are times a junior man has to realize that the rules in place were hard fought for,..... and there for a reason,........not to punish lower seniority members. ALL companies hate solidarity,......and they enjoy watching the top half fighting with the bottom half........
