Whats the rules concerning extra board drivers and time spent at a mini hub, can they hold you for three hours, forcing you to work the dock then force you long pushing you into a 14 hour day or a possible hotel room? Thanks for any help.

Here is whats happening, im extra i run 150 to mini hub, when i get there they dont have anything so im told to hit the dock, work the dock a couple hours then they throw a 300 mile run on me and another 150 back home which most generally forces me to run a hard 14 hr night or go to a hotel. Seems like its happening quite often and quite tiresome if i do make it back to home domicile. Hope that makes sense.

Tell them you can't make it,traffic, fatigue, sick,I don't think there is any set rule on refusals, but you have to be careful how you do it,

Sorry brothers for the questions, im fairly new to this. Just trying to figure out what they can and cant get away with. Most extras starve but ive been hamered which im thankful for the checks but 55 to 65 work weeks suck when you have a family. Extra board rules is vague in the contract book. If i take a nice nap do i need to call central, if so do i give the reason as nap/safety break? Ive heard they can not force you into a room, true/false?

E logs will be a game changer for you guys.
The Company can't push you to the limit . It is all in black and white . logs can be edited a little , change a duty status correct a error, etc, but Once you go on duty , the clock is ticking . No way to change that and that is a good thing.
