Yep, no liability insurance needed on a non-powered piece of equipment. The trailers and dollies, yes. But they aren't driven, so they don't really count in this game of semantics.

If only those indentured servants would stop willingly signing those non-negotiable contracts!Freddy has changed the way he disguises his indentured servitude model, you now have to be incorporated, therefore you are an employee of said corp.
A lot of people willingly sign lease purchase agreements also, that doesn't mean they aren't getting shafted, right? If only those indentured servants would stop willingly signing those non-negotiable contracts!
Don't know. Never been an OOSo is an owner operator leased to a company or working for a broker an employee? The company sets the price and dictates it.
I have seen many a set price change when no one will haul it for cheap. So is an owner operator leased to a company or working for a broker an employee? The company sets the price and dictates it.

OR as pt barnum put it there's a sucker born every minuteYep and if Fedex funds themselves in the situation where they can't find contractors they will raise their rates to. But it must be alright because they have no trouble finding contractors.
That's the market dictating the price. And if FedEx weren't able to find anyone to do it for what they pay, the rate would go up and the customer would pay more for the service.I have seen many a set price change when no one will haul it for cheap.
