Don was a great guy and an even better coworker. Would always help out with something without you having to ask. I worked with him for over 10 years.Just to bad. I did hear fedex gave his family the severence buyout even though Don did not opt for that when he was laid off.
It is really weird not seeing Don come by the front desk..He always made it point to say something and everytime he walked thru the office he would wave..when he would see a customer come up a lot of times he would meet them at the front desk and then around to the ramp. The flowers on the forklift..awesome idea..thank you for that..Don rest in peace..you will be and are truly missed..God be with your family
Just goes to show. You just never know. How sad. My thoughts are with his family. I can't imagine what they are going through. We've lost people here, but not due to accident. Be careful out there people.
