Me and co driver split .18 a mile and I owed most of it back in advances !I remember making .09 a mile.
When I was out in the Gulf of Tonkin in 1972, cigarettes were tax free and $0.13 a pack.When I started driving 20 cents a mile was a decent wage, but then a pack of Marlboros was $0.50.
