FedEx Freight | Freightliners are making an appearence....

Here at Averitt we have both Day Cabs and Sleepers. I had a 11 Cascadia Sleeper for 2 years, had the auto shift and a ISX15ST 425 hp, could pull Fancy Gap VA and Monteagle Tn with the cruise on, with 40K at 45-50 mph. Our daycabs have the PATHTEC ISX12ST 350 hp, and barely can get out of it's own way. Nice things about the Cascadia's is the roomy cabs, controls within easy reach, very nice wide and tall seats, overall visability, and the sound dampening of the cab. Even after 300k miles the cab was still tight and didn't leak water around the windshield. The shifter paddle under the steering wheel is easy to use and you can lock it in gear manually. The most irritating things are... the mirrors will fog up with water when raining, the trucks are very sensitive to wind, especially around other trucks, with the large windows and windshield you will get a lot of sun on you. I traded my CASCADIA for a new PROSTAR a little over a month ago, sure wish I had it back now.
