Some of the seals are not like the original seal. If you repalce a old seal with a new one make sure you know what your doing. With the new seals the big side fits into the glad hand. They have been useing these seals for a couple of years and it still shocks me to find one put in wrong.

Those new gladhand seals definately suck. Especially, like you said if they are put in backwards. I wish the head mechanics of this company would take in driver input on certain products and equipment. One big question I have is why doesn't the company buy all great dane pigtails for the tractors and dollies (when they need to be replaced)? I'm sure the cost difference isn't that much and it would save from having to always jam something like an old load seal into the light sockets to keep the pigtail from popping out. The newer great dane trailers especially have the most slop in them.
