Drivers for YRC Worldwide Subsidiary Reimer Express Capture Top Honors at 2008 National Professional Truck Driving Championships
Akron, OH, and Winnipeg, MB - September 19, 2008 - Reimer Express Lines, Ltd, a subsidiary of YRC Worldwide Inc. (NASDAQ: YRCW), is proud to announce that Reimer driver Julius Swecera has been named National Champion in the Step Van Class and Darren Tychkowsky has been named National Champion in the Single/Single Class at the 2008 National Professional Truck Driving Championships held September 12-13 in Ottawa, Ontario.

Julius Swecera is a Driver Account Specialist at the Reimer Express service center in Vancouver, British Columbia. He has worked for Reimer Express since 1990 and began competing at the Nationals in 1999. In his two trips to the Nationals, he has competed in both the Single/Tandem and Step Van categories. With the Nationals in Vancouver in 2009, Julius is ready to defend his title at home.

Darren Tychkowsky is a Driver Account Specialist at the Reimer Express service center in Edmonton, Alberta. He began his employment with Reimer Express in 1992. Darren has participated in several provincial competitions over the last number of years in the Single/Single category. This was Darren’s second trip to the Nationals and his first time receiving a trophy at the event.

Harvey Gording placed second in the Single/Tandem Class and Larry Radons placed second in the Straight Truck Class. Both drivers have won numerous times at the Nationals. Harvey has been awarded National Grand Champion twice and has won National Champion in his class six times as well as National Rookie of the Year in 1993. Larry has been awarded National Grand Champion three times and has won National Champion in his class five times.

To compete, each entrant had to be accident free for 12 months prior to the championships. At the Nationals, competitors completed a written test, a pre-trip inspection and a driving maneuverability competition. Reimer Express had five drivers compete at nationals out of the total 35 competitors.

Well, still laid off. But when I woke still breathing this morning, I figured I might as well go drink some coffee. And much to my surprise, as I was sitting on the porch enjoying my java, the damndist thing happened, The Sun Still Rose! Go figure. :waycool:

Was it commodity coffee? If so where can I get some? My wife drinks it everyday. I personaly can't stand the stuff.
 
There is a "Comunity" coffee made in Mobile, is that what you meant? If so, it's not bad but I'm a Folgers kinda guy myself.
