For two weeks, January 18 - 29, Con-way’s Voices & Values Teams (VVTs/VTFs) will be collecting employees’ monetary donations. Your manager will let you know which team member will serve this role at your location. If you would like to help the people of Haiti through this effort, here’s how to participate:
1. Make your donation in the form of a check, money order or cashier’s check. Sorry, cash cannot be accepted.
2. Make your check payable to the American Red Cross. Your canceled check will serve as your receipt for a tax deduction. Your donations will be mailed to a Red Cross address that has been designated specifically for Haiti relief. For your own records, you may want to note “Haiti” in the memo section of your check.
3. Give your donation to a member of your local VVT/VTF between Jan. 18 and Jan. 29.
Your donation of any amount will help provide food, water, temporary shelter, medical services and emotional support to someone in need. And just as importantly, your gift will provide hope amidst destruction.
