To those of you who have experienced a vitran buyout; how long will it take for them to figure out which teminals are profitable & those that are not. Can we expect those terminals to be shut down asap or will they (vitran mgmt) put their heads together and try to find a solution for that location to become profitable? Give me some examples of what they have done in the past. What was the name of the freight company they bought out in Ky.? What happened at the Bowling Green location from day of buyout until they shut it down? What ever became of those guys? Also, do they (vitran mgmt) quickly relocate terminals to an area in their favor without regard for long time employees they inherited with buyout? What happened with all of the pjax guys? Did vitran let them keep any seniority? Does vitran recognize yeras of service you had in with previous company? We still have many questions. We do appreciate all honest replies from each of you. Many of us have an uneasy-queasy feeling of what is coming down the pike.
