But I thought that the whole reason for wanting to have a union was to get those things. That we didn't have them here. So if they are so important, and so easily available, then staying here is a waste. Everyday here is a lost day of seniority there.

You guys would do a lot better making your point if you could do it without all this double talk. If union jobs are better. And you guys insist that you are compensated better than we are. Why is it not beneath people to work non union ? Why should you not encourage everyone to come work with you ?

Songremainsthesame isn't running around telling everyone that OD is better, but that they should try to make Con-way more like OD. He is saying come on over. You won't believe how stupid you were to waste your time staying for nothing. He has one message. It's clear and easily understood and he doesn't change it to something else mid sentence.

You are right about people wanting to wait and see... But if everyone waits to see, there will be nothing to see.

The strength (and reward) comes from significant (strategic) numbers/locations. With few locations, there is little or no leverage. But if most would risk a little, and step up, then the reward would be nearly certain.

Conway was smart to significantly bump wages, that pacified a lot of people. Enough to make a difference. Are they actually satisfied? Only yall can say for sure.

They had better bump wages again this summer. There will be insane defections again if they don't. The shortage is real. Companies are having people retire and quit and can't hire anyone to replace the departures let alone hire for the sake of growing.

Watch by this summer the last of the driver dock bids will disappear as we will no longer be able to afford having a CDL on a forklift.

And what after that ? Just keep telling customers we can't cover the freight ?

Just a guess on my part. But being as OD is owning the industry right now with an amazing operating ratio. They can afford to make a driver scoop again this summer. And it will be up to everyone else if they want to keep up or give up.
