Back in the three year job action against Overnite, they pulled some mighty low down tactics.
Picketing our customers, following us drivers, and on,and on I could go.
But whats the point.
This is all water under the bridge that is gone forever.
Only to be kept alive in the memorys of all of us that lived through it.

Not long into this Teamster organizing effort L.Suggs wanted a company wide vote, winner take all.
Mr.Hoffa refused, toward the end of the three years Leo asked for a vote again.
But Mr.Hoffa wanted it to be on his terms, and Leo said no way we are running a business and don't have the time to do it your way.
At the end Mr.Hoffa threw in the towel, and said he didn't want Overnite in the Teamsters union, then just as it started it was over.

UPS bought us,and rebranded us to operate under their brand.

Then Mr.Hoffa asked UPS if he could start organizing us ,so we'd be represented by the Teamsters.
Then Mr.Hoffa agreed to the one terminal card check.

So looking back, why did the Teamsters make so many mistakes?

In my opinion we may of already been Teamsters, and would have had our part in the NMFA.

But like I say all the regrets are history.
Where are we going from this point on?
