When I had my own truck I carried a policy with Blue Cross/ Blue Shield. That was before Obummer screwed the pooch though. I hear those policies are pretty expensive now.

now try your local state, that carriers Obama Care.(yeah i know), i lost my health benefits after i got injured, and now i have United Health and Medicaid, but check my thread, "career ending operation" from the beginning and see how i made out and why, as this may or may not apply to you.

from there, they may have selections from blue cross, to united health care, to a state run plan.

plans are what you can afford, so you may need to take along your past (up to) 3 years of the tax forms.

going directly into Blue cross, or any other may be out of touch, so try your state's Obama Care facilitator, as you may get tax credits as this is what lowers the premiums.
