I'm thinking the back of the dock is up against the river today. The back of the property is up against the Truckee River.
I remember the flood we had several years ago in Reno. I called dispatch to ask them if I could grab a couple of Penny's trailers and get out of town. The weather was bad. They said no. I stayed at the western village hotel, and watched the water pour into the granite rock quarry. Its now become a big lake. Three days later it finally got cold enough to snow. We chained up and went over Donner Pass. 395 was washed out. 385 was closed for about 6 months. I'm glad I'm retired. jc
- 22 years with Viking Freight, and 11 years with FXF. I'm starting my 7th year of retirement. I'm living comfortably off my Fedex Pension, 401K and SS, and I don't have to work at the local 711 to make spare change. I'm sure your plan for retirement is much greater than mine. Happy Trails. TP
I thought you loved it here! You crazy sombitch! I know if I was lucky enough to escape this place, I damn sure wouldn't be hanging around anything FedEx related
I thought you loved it here!
No humidity, hot chicks, just down the road from RC.
I think it's all he has...I do love it here! But if I was fortunate enough to have free time like pops here has, I damn sure wouldn't waste my time sniffing around the Fedex watering hole. To each his own I guess
